It is a rare 20th Anniversary Edition 1986 Ovation Collectors'
Series Electric-Acoustic guitar.
Model Number 1986-6.
It has a blonde laminated top
and an impressive paint job on the slightly rounded back.
The neck has mother of pearl figure 8 fret inlays
(including a mother of pearl "1986" at the 12th fret),
a black headstock w/black tuners,
and what appears to be an ebony fret board.
The "sound hole" is surrounded by a fancy mother of pearl design.
The guitar has a built in pickup/preamp system with a
3 band EQ, master volume knob, and a battery life detector.
We will include a black deluxe hard shell case.
It has a sweet mellow tone due to the aging of the AAA Spruce top.
The sleek body shape is comfortable to play which
help eliminate feedback when you play live.
There are a few cosmetic blemishes on the headstock and both
the front and back of the body.
There are some hairline cracks on the surface of the body
near the sound hole, a gash on the back of the Neck,
and some buckle rash on the back of the body.
These minor imperfections do not affect the guitar in any way.
This guitar is fully functional and works as intended.
