This is a Bitchin' Ampeg VT-40 Amplifier.
It's got Great Tone you just don't hear from modern amps.
This same model of an amplifier was used by Mick Taylor of the
Rolling Stones and Josh Homme of the Queens of the Stone Age.
It was recently inspected and serviced by our amp tech.
This is what he did:
-Installed new 6l6GC power tubes
-Installed a new GROUNDED power cord
-Installed a new JJ ECC832 (12dw7) preamp tube
-Biased the amp for optimal operation
-Replaced 8 Pin Tube Socket
-Replaced 3 out of spec. Resistors
-Cleaned all Pots, Jacks, and Switches
This amp is Fully Functional.
All speakers and electronics are up and running as intended.
It would make a great addition to your current rig.
